The purpose of this self-study course is to equip TLT Mentors with the fundamental aspects of Teen Leadership Training (TLT) ministry in their club. This course is divided into four learning modules with learning activities and a quiz for each module.
You need to have a copy of the Teen Leadership Training Director’s Guide (AdventSource, 2016). This is the source material for this course. References will be made to specific content within its pages. Following the successful completion of this course you will receive a completion certificate. If you have your Basic Staff Training certificate and want to work toward an Adventist Youth Ministry Training (AYMT) Certification then you will need to complete the required field work outlined below.
You will learn the simple tasks and responsibilities that TLT Mentors fulfill in making staff and TLTs of a club successful in their leadership development.
Tracy Wood serves as Director for Youth & Young Adult Ministries for the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. His primary responsibilities are in the area of Young Adult Ministries, Public Campus Ministries, and Teen Leadership Training.
