This short 5-hour mini-course looks at the legal responsibilities of educational and church leaders where copyright is concerned.
The course has several different elements including voice over PowerPoints, quizzes, and short reading assignments. It’s divided into 8 different lessons dealing with specific topics that should only take you a few minutes each to complete. After completing this course for continuing education credit, you may re-enroll in the course for the purposes of resource retrieval, but not earn any additional CEUs.
After learning activities and completing the short 25 question quiz at the end of the mini-course you’ll earn 0.5 continuing education units and a copyright training certificate in your Adventist Learning Community ePortfolio.

I really appreciated the information in this. Many of my questions have been answered on this topic.
This course provided me with information that I had searched for but did not completely understand. Thank you for clarifying some questions I had on copyright within the classroom.
parts of the presentation would not open for me. I did however learn a lot of new information! Valuable.
I was surprised by some of the information, specifically about the work-for-hire rule and that pastors may not own the copyright to their own sermons, recordings, courses, processes.
