The Healthy Lifestyle course is a 12-module course on twelve healthy living principles. Self-care best practices, substance abuse information, and family planning strategies are presented. This course will help you practice a healthy lifestyle, and give you critical information about substance abuse, and lastly, help you identify the types of family planning choices that best fit you. It can also be taught as a community health seminar, as part of an evangelism project, during a health expo, in small groups, and in other venues.
After completing this course you will earn 1.2 CEU and a certificate of completion in your Adventist Learning Community e-portfolio.
You will learn several basic approaches to healthy living, recognition of substance abuse issues, and family planning. You can also deliver this program in your community or other settings. This course is very useful for mission trip presentations. This course is not a portion of a health care practitioner license. It does not give you the right to diagnose, prescribe, or oversee medical treatment of any kind. If you or someone you know is experiencing a chronic medical condition please contact a family physician. If you or someone you know is experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or activate your local emergency response system.
I really enjoyed doing the course, very informative, understandable with life applicable solutions and very assuring bible verses.
